Yes, but if you do we will assume you would rather spend time at that location and will find your own way back to the ship. You will need to provide your own transportation such as a taxi or Uber to our shuttle stops if you would like to still use our shuttle service but you will not be able to visit the escorted stops you missed. Our escorted stops are designed to give you ample time at each location to take pictures and enjoy the area, we require all passengers
to return to the bus at the drivers requested time so that the tour stays on schedule and you get the most of your day. -
Yes, otherwise you will need to find your own way back to the ship and it is nearly impossible to find a taxi or Uber
to provide a ride for you. Volcanoes National Park is a 45 minute drive from the Port of Hilo. We have to keep on
schedule so that all passengers can enjoy all the stops on the tour. So please don’t disappear while on this tour.

We are located right outside the main gate at the Port of Hilo. Once you leave the port just look left and our office is the cute building facing the road, usually with our buses in front.

YES. Just look for our representative once you enter the terminal building holding up a sign that says
“Hoppa-On Hoppa-Off”. This bus is for passengers on all our tours.

Yes, however we have limited seats and it will be first come first serve. Our ticketing platform on line will not do same day ticketing so you will need to come to our office for availability. It is always best to book ahead of time on this website to guarantee your seat.

Yes we hold the required insurance and license as a USDOT qualified company. We hold a permit to enter the port of Hilo and tour through the US park service and have liability insurance for our office, buses and drivers.

No, Keikana Tours is a locally owned and operated tour company in Hilo and we do not represent any other similar service located anywhere else in Hawaii.

Yes, if you would like to go back to the ship to change clothes or maybe eat lunch or just take a short break it’s perfectly ok. You can come back to the office to catch the shuttles to Old Town Hilo or the Beach shuttle as long as time allows. You will need to walk to our office to reboard our shuttles to Old Town Hilo or the beach shuttle because shuttle service from the port to our office is only allowed at the start of the day.

Yes, but do not leave any valuables on the bus. We do not take any responsibility for any lost or stolen items. We will be happy to look on our buses if you have lost an item and all lost and found items will be turned into our office.

No and once you have chosen your seat for the escorted part of your tour you will be asked to keep that same seat unless you ask the persons permission who is occupying the seat you would like to switch with you.

Yes, we reserve the right to have any passengers that cause a disruption, use foul language or show aggressive behavior to our employees or other passengers to forfeit their ticket and find their own transportation. No refunds will be given.

Be prepared for in climate weather because the East Side of the Big Island can provide “Liquid Aloha”, rain. For the Volcanoes National Park Tour it is best to wear closed toed shoes because you will be walking on some uneven ground at times and a light jacket or rain jacket depending on what time of year you are here.
